How do you define the dope shit? What is Dope Haus?

I am a self described “dope chick”. And shit is dope to me because….well, quite frankly because I said it is. There’s no right or wrong. No rhyme or reason. Dope shit is just dope shit. No matter how you filter it, the hash tag used, or the amount a views received. When an experience feels unforgettable, when a trip is once in a lifetime, or that outfit looks good on the hanger and on you THAT’S DOPE. Dope shit happens everyday. It’s all around us. Dope Haus is where we will explore those moments, deepen those spaces, and every once in a while discuss the moments weren’t so dope but probably could have been.

Experiences of life make us dope. All of us. Every single experience, good or bad, colorful and dull….they’ve developed us. They’ve shaped who we are, told us how we feel about ourselves, and aided in the decisions we’ve made. The sum total of my experiences have made me dope. Raising my children made me dope. All of my degrees make me dope. Not using any of those degrees to discover my passion makes..me.. dope. And whatever you accomplished yesterday, today, or the week before makes you dope too. Dope Haus is a space to be proud of those experiences to celebrate those accomplishments, and to work through the moments that could have been. Dope Haus is a dope space to just be … well Dope.

Over the past several years travel, style, art, and home decor have really become a passion of mine. I have found myself at my happiest when I’m creating something and releasing a finished product. Whether that be putting an outfit together or painting a room, building a shelf or curating a vacation look. Alas, I guess I’m a creative ya’ll and Dope Haus is my newest way sharing my creative thoughts with you.
